India has become one of the important nations in the world. The developed countries do take into consideration the nations like China and India. With a population of 1+ billion its the "people" who have now become the wealth of the country having a mean age between 25-35. With more young population its a very important time for india. The youth could make or mar the future of India.
With 2 weeks to the election of the world's largest democracy it has become an important watch for other countries. Yes, its not like the US presidents election who indirectly becomes the president and savior of the world! :) Well Indian elections seem to be tracked not only in the country but by those outside. Google has launched a page for the Indian election.
Though not a remarkable work from Google which has the details of only the 'metro' cities yet it is interesting to see that India Google has found it important to cater to India.
