Has it really been a decade????

A decade seems like a long long time...but has it really been that
long????Back then i thought a decade later i wud not be in touch with most of
the ppl, wudnt remember the names of few n wudnt have time to go over
the pictures too. And here i am thinking about school n strangely i
remember most of it all. I dont think i'm growing old ... like the rest
of my friends from school ....

Back in 1996 we had decided to meet in school on the 14th Nov 2006
(childrens day!) ... thinking of it then... i was sure it was an
impossible task! at 25/26 we used to think that we'll all be married n
have kids... never thot it wud be this way ;)

When i came to school i left my mom's finger and came to a whole new
world... n when i left HAC it was like going through the whole thing
again. None of us wud have ever imagined to be so much in touch... we had a feeling that this was the end and we may never even meet again.. what wud be left with us wud
be some rusty memories n some dusty photograps...here are somethings i
can quickly recall :D...

The early lunch in the brunch, the antakshari during lunch, throwball,
seven tiles, the silly fites, the lab records, the project works, the
10th std boards [which we thought was the most important n difficult
exam ], the history n maths classes [the teachers ofcourse made it
special ], the vayinoking, the dash for the bus [rema n ananya will
remember this], poornima's comments for everyone in the bus , the
morning assembly, sumitra's tie (which she never wore), the early
morning homework copying session [thanks to ppl who used to do the
homework, the sister freeda's hindi classes n her intersting jokes
[remember the "bark" one ] with shanti's imitation, the shakespear's
lessons, wuthering heights, the old man and the sea, the poetry
lessons, sister leticia's prayers, chemistry lessons from shiny teacher
[the names seems funny now... strangely it never seemed funny then],
sophy teachers anger, our December 3rd parties, the dance competitions,
jayashree's singing, gayathri's dancing, the parents day practise, the
school competitions [ i can still remember a few songs..."wo din hai
kitna door, jab aapne appne, sab ke sapne honge poore.." -Red house ],
the school band [thomas n asha wud rememebr ].. n wat not....
i cut go on n on n on n on.... its a never ending list... .... please
add ur list in the comments section n let others be a part of ur
memory......
